Linda Douglas (Cortright)

Linda Rae Douglass Cortright lost her battle with cancer May 24th, 2014. She was an Artist, a Loving Wife, an Awesome Grandmother and a Best friend to many and truly a Wonderful human being. She left way too soon and will be forever missed.

The following is a quote from Linda in a journal that she had been keeping.

"I know I will die sooner than later and I am so sad about it. I will miss my husband, children, grandchildren and dear friends so very much. I will love you all so much and will always be watching over you all"....Linda

Linda was really a great friend, always had a special smile for everyone...and from the sounds of her family and business life, she stayed with that motto...

So sorry to learn of the death of Linda, she was one of my favorite people.  I especially remember the good times we had in Mrs. Marshall's drama class.  She always had a smile on her face and was nice to everyone.  Rest in Peace my friend.

I'm so sorry to hear of Linda's death.  My memories of her from our class are of a bubbly, smiley-faced, little cherub, who could light up a room by simply walking into it.  What a great loss we  all will feel no longer having her  in our lives, but I'm sure we all will have our own special memories of Linda  and she will stay in our hearts forever.  Go in peace sweet girl.

I didn't know Linda well but she always had a wonderful smile on her face and cute laugh. I'm sorry for what she, her family and friends have gone through.  Blessings to all. She will be missed.

We had fun in High School but even more so in the '80's working together selling real estate and raising children when living on Gold Rush.  Lots of special memories!
