Ginger was a classmate of mine beginning in Kindergarten at East Helena Public School (Main Street School).  We graduated from 8th grade in June 1960 and rode the school bus with others from East Helena to Helena Jr. High and then Helena Sr. High.  Ginger was a great friend and often told great stories.  One I recall particularly.  She was working as a hair dresser/stylist at Hennessey's in Cap Hill Mall.  She reported one of her regulars came in one day for a 'do' and said "I'm so tired, I don't know which end is up."  Ginger replied, "You better decide,  you have only one appointment scheduled."   Ginger, I love and miss you.  Glen

Ginger passed on September 9, 2001 after a short illness.  Ginger, my cousin, was a kind and funny person.  Although I didn't get to spend much time with her after high school, we visited when I was able to get home.

I remember the great times we had every Christmas Eve with the visits from Santa.  She had a great sense of humor and is missed very much...

Love, Joanie

I went to school with Ginger from kindergarten through eighth grade at East Helena's Main Street School.  In addition, I lived across the street from her from the time I was in first through fourth grades.  We had some wonderful times selling lemonade in the summer to smelter workers walking home from work at the end of the 3 o'clock shift.  Ginger's mother was our Brownie Scout leader for a couple of years, and we had some great times learning to be good scouts!  We spent lots of time together playing "frozen" tag in her yard, attending Smelterite baseball games, ice skating at the city pond and exploring the creek and fields near the smelter.  Great memories!  Miss you, Ginger!

I also went thru shcool in East Helena with Ginger, and like Karen remember our girl scout meetings at her home.  Think Ginger was one of those people with a very gentle soul.  She was taken from us at an early age, but her impact still remains with me,    Cathy Culbertson Evans

Ginger was always a very considerate and gentle person the whole time I knew her in East Helena Grade School and all the way through Helena High.  She was a very good friend of mine and I will miss her alot.  I always thought that she would be a teacher like her aunt, Miss Gleed our 4th grade teacher in East Helena.  I will always treasure the times we had together in grade school and high school.  Bless you always Ginger.
