My wife, Jane, was staying with Margie on the way back to UM in Sept., 1965, when Jane and I had our first date: it was sort of a blind date. Doubled with Margie and I can't remember who, to a HHS/Billings West football game. Helena lost 7 to 6 and I lost the bet - couldn't pay up so had to marry her. Sure did work out good, though! Will always remember Margie with fondness!  Gerry Hudson (my folks have passed so I can now admit to swiping a fifth of Bacardi from my Dad's liquor cabinet and buying Cokes and ferrying them out to the car and back to Vigilante Stadium - we were soooo grown up, weren't we? )

Margie taught with my husband  for a couple years in Msla. What a kick!  Many good times, especially the summer BBQ's at Farrell cabin on Seeley.  Thanks for being a friend and you will always be remembered

MARGIE was my first friend in my new school in 2nd  grade at Hawthorne.....we met on the swings and for the next years we knew each other in Helena we had a wonderful connection. Wonderful memories of sleep overs and the secret passageways in her home. Fell in love with her and her Mom, Margie was her Mom all over again. Will miss her forever and cherish those sweet wonderful and innocent times together. RIP my friend forever. Patsy

Margie was part of the Hawthorne connection.  There was a group of us that attended Hawthorne and went through high school together.  This was agreat team and find people.  Margie, I know you are in heaven and watching over the class of 1964.

When I was 11, I got hit by a truck on my bike.  I was laid up quite a while.  Margie carried my books home from school. Chivalry was alive and well!  A couple of years later, I repaid her by breaking her arm in a hot game of "kick the can". Margie and I were pretty good friends in spite of it! I still thiink of her often.
