Leroy called me one day and said he was back in town and was going through the phoned book looking for old friends. We talked for a long time and talked about the float we did together in 63 with Carolyn Dana and DIANE Schmidt. We said we should get together for coffee sometime. That however never happened. I found out later that Leroy knew he was going to die and wanted to be back home in Helena when it came about. I will always miss his friendship
