Helena High School
Class Of 1964

Greetings HHS-64 Classmates

Well it has been an interesting couple of months since last we communicated with you.  We hope that you and your loved ones continue to be healthy and safe.  Even though we have had some classmates depart from us, so far as we know, we have not lost any to the Covid virus.  We hope and pray that this continues for all of our classmates.

Our granparents were tested with the 1918 influenza epidemic and World War 1.  Our parents experienced the Great Depression, dust bowl days, and World War 2.  Now our generation has been tested with the Vietnam War, the Gulf War and now Covid 19.  Through all of these events, our country has endured, risen from the depths of anguish and ultimately prospered.  This latest test reminds us of the most important things in life - health, loved ones and our relationships with those around us.

As our country reopens to the "New Normal" and spring (finally) comes back to Montana, please gather your loved ones around you, hug them tightly (once social distancing relaxes) and tell them you love them.  Cherish each day, each hour and each minute that you are able to look up to the sky and marvel at the life we have been given.  As these past two months have demonstrated, our time on earth can change very quickly.  Please, please take care of yourselves and your families.  We want to see you at our 60 Reunion!
