Helena High School
Class Of 1964

Greetings HHS-64 Classmates

As we experience these uncertain times in the world and the United States with the coronavirus epidemic, we hope that all of our classmates and families are healthy and safe.  Unfortunately now that we have celebrated our 55th reunion, we are considered an "at risk" group.  It seems like yesterday when we were graduating, we viewed ourselves as invincible!  Now we are "at risk".

We hope that as you shelter-in-place, you and your families can reflect back through your lives and enjoy many happy memories of the past 55 years.  As Gerry Hudson said in his 50th anniversary rememberance, we witnessed many world altering events - the Vietnam war, the space race and man's first steps on the moon, many advances in medical science, and world altering climactic change to mention a few.  We have been a generation of great change - both good and bad, but we have persevered.

Before the epidemic began, the Reunion Committee was meeting once a month at the Red Atlas room in the back of the Staggering Ox.  When the shutdown is lifted, if you are in the Helena area and would like to reminiss about the "good old days" contact one of the committee members to find out when the next meeting is scheduled.

These current events will also pass, and we once again will persevere.  In the mean time, reach out to your friends and neighbors as best you can.  Perhaps a meal or even a phone call.  Let them know that they are of value to you and the world.  It is amazing what affect this kind of contact can have.  Keep yourselves healthy and safe - we want to see you at our 60th reunion!
